13 December 2003 - Nordic Winner 2003 Show, Stockholm

judge: Tarja Hovila from Finland (17 entires)
Flora finished her Swedish Champion title in the Nordic Winner 2003 Show in Stockholm. She went for second best bitch and got CAC + reserve CACIB. Her Swedish half-sister Ellvira (S CH, SW-03 Mahsai Spyce Her Up) took the Nordic WInner 2003 (NORDW-03) title - congratulations for Ellvira & Lotta & Christina!

Spice Twice had today great celebration in Finnish Winner 2003 Show - judge: Tarja Hovila from Finland (8 entires)
Funky went for Best of Breed and took Finnish Winner 2003 title (FINW-03) and ended the day by going Best in Group 2. His daughter Do finished her Finnish Champion title with grand style by going Best of Opposite Sex and took the Finnish Winner 2003 title (FINW-03).
Speedy and Rosie both got the reserve CACIBs. Keanu got the reserve CAC.

Not that we weren't happy with the above, but it was Dutch Winner 2003 Show (12 entires) also today and Monty followed his father's footsteps and took also Best of Breed + Dutch Winner 2003 title (NLW-03) - judge: Stefan Sinko, Krotia.
Heartiest congratulations for the Dutch extension of the family!

Speedy (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) took CACIB + Breed and Best and Do (Karlux Doris Day) got her second CAC as well as CACIB and went for Best of Opposite Sex.

FINNISH SPANIEL CLUB'S ANNUAL SPECIALTY in Hyvinkää, judge Jukka Kuusisto (Finland):

Spice Twice Athos was in his very first show and took first place in the puppy class (5-7months). Erinveine Run Up The Colors was first in the intermediate class and took reserve CAC. Spice Twice Ginger Finger won the champion class where his father Nonsuch Spyce Twyce got second. Spice Twice Lalande was first in the intermediate class. Karlux Doris Day took first place in the open class and got reserve CAC. Spice Twice Clockwise was first in the working class and got CAC and finished FIN CH title today. Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary won the champion class, got and went for Best of Opposite Sex.

The Spice Twice Breeder's group was evaluated Exellent with the honour prize.

Also Nonsuch Spyce Twyce's Progeny class was evaluated Excellent with the hounour prize.

EUROPEAN WINNER 2003 SHOW in Bratislava (Slovakia), judge Horts Kliebenstein (Germany) - 23 entries:
Karlux Doris Day went for Best of Breed & European Winner 2003 and Spice Twice Ginger Finger was Best of Opposite Sex & European Winner 2003. Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary won the Champion Class and finished the Slovakian Champion title.

The successful day was creamed with Spice Twice Breeder's group taking Saturday's Best in Show Breeder's Group.

SLOVAKIAN SPANIEL CLUB'S ANNUAL SPECIALTY in Bratislava (Slovakia), judge Albin Luknar (Slovakia):
Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary won Champion Class, got CAC & went for Best of Opposite Sex. Karlux Doris Day was second in Open Class and got res. CAC. Spice Twice Ginger Finger was second in Champion Class and got res.CAC.

The Spice Twice Breeder's group wnet Best in Show2 Breeder's Group.
Spice Twice Ginger Finger and Karlux Doris Day went for Best in Show 2 in the Brace Class.



Monty (Spice Twice Sir Cumin) achieved C-diploma in the Dutch HUNTING TEST for gundogs! Hearthy congratulations for Marie, Marco and Monty!

Do (Karlux Doris Day) took her first CAC and went for Best of Breed in Kouvola All Breed Show.
The judging was done by Eeva Anttinen (Finland).




In March 2003, Shaula was selected by Ralston Purina to be one of their 2003 Campaign Champions. This is an honour given to approximately 20 dogs in Canada and only once. Now, with great pride, Spice Twice, the Baxters and Shaula can share with everyone Shaula's official campaign photo. In Canada, these pictures will be in future issues of Champions Plus and Canine Review. Purina supports many dog shows in Canada and they showcase these pictures on a display wall. Rosie (Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary) & Speedy (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) both finished thrri Swedish Show Champion titles S (u) CH in Sundsvall International Show in Sweden under the judge Fredrik Nordgren from Sweden. Speedy took Best of Breed and Rosie Best of Opposite Sex.

An absolutely lovely bitch in every aspect. Lovely construction from head to tail. Balanced all over, lots of heart room, strong mobile quarters which enabled her to drive round the ring. Must have a Volvo engine inside there somewhere and looks just as much a Clumber when stacked. She’ll do for me.

Funky (Nonsuch Spyce Twyce) was 4th in the champion class dogs and went for
best dog 5 + was best tracking male 3.

Monty (Spice Twice Sir Cumin) was 1. in open class dogs, but was not placed in the
best dog ring.

Keanu (Erinveine Run Up The Colors) was 4th of the intermediate class dogs
(15-24 months)


The successful day was finalized by getting BEST IN SHOW BREEDER's GROUP

Funky's progeny group was best of the dog progeny groups + reserve best in show progeny group

Funky (Nonsuch Spyce Twyce) keeps going strong regardless his "show retirement", his first show of this year ended with the grand style. He took Best of Breed and later went for BEST IN SHOW!! . Rosie (Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary) was Best of Opposite Sex and Speedy (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) went for Best Dog 2 after his father.

Helsingør (Danmark) International CACIB Show:
Speedy (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) finished his Danish Champion title and got CACIB and went for Best of Opposite Sex under the UK judge Frank Kane.
Congratulations for Mari and Speedy the new Champion title! And thank you Mari taking Rosie (Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary) along, she went for Best Bitch 3 in the same show. Thanks for Mari taking our Rosie along!


Mari travelled to Helsingør Danmark with Speedy, Rosie and Faron.

Narvik (Norway) International CACIB Show:
"Speedy" (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) & "Rosie" (Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary) both finished their Norwegian Champion titles. Speedy went forBest of Opposite Sex and Rosie Best of Breed and later placed 5th in the group ring under the judge Nils Molin from Sweden.

Spice Twice and Lyndhaven are proudly celebrating that Spice Twice Shaula has been chosen by Nestles Purina as one of their 2003 Purina Champions! Beginning in July, Shaula's portrait will be showcased on the Purina wall at dog shows and in canine publications throughout Canada. This is a once in a lifetime honor for Shaula and to come at the beginning of her show career is truly amazing! We have to wonder what other thrilling adventures Shaula has in store for us! Funky was invited to the Champion of Champions gala for the THIRD year in the raw. This is a yearly held glamorous gala party where the most successful show dogs are invited, This year the judging was trusted for Ferelith Sommerfield (UK), Kenneth Edh (Sweden) and Kari Järvinen (Finland).






25 January 2003: "Speedy" (Spice Twice Ginger Finger) & "Rosie" (Spice Twice Radiant Rosemary) both finished their Finnish Champion titles with the grand style. Speedy went for Best of Breed and Rosie for Best of Opposite Sex under the judge Carla Molinari from Portugal. "Twinky" (Spice Twice Lalande) had reserve CAC & reserve Best Bitch in the same Show. "Keanu" (Erinveine Run Up The Colors) got excellent and was second in the junior class.
